North
Carolina Families Learning Together is a group of North Carolina homeschooling
families.
Our purpose is to facilitate the exchange of information, talents and resources.
We believe that
homeschooling our children should be the focal point of the group. FLT is
a collective effort of all members.
Who We Are:
Families Learning Together serves as a support network, welcoming anyone
with an interest in home education.
FLT encourages the expression of many diverse opinions. As a group, FLT
does not endorse or
recommend any one resource, method or philosophy over another.
What We Do:
Families Learning Together offers support for all homeschooling families in North Carolina through:
- GATHERINGS-These provide an excellent opportunity for meeting other homeschooling families from around the state.
- OUR MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY-Published for members only.
- OUR YAHOO LIST-For members only. This allows members to communicate as often as they would like.
- THE FLT NEWSLETTER-Published online, every three months.
- THE MEETING
MINUTES-Is our Town Hall. Every Member has an equal voice in policy
decisions and the group depends on the participation of all members.
